Max and Joey, two seminarians at the Josephinum in Ohio, run a great show called The Logos Podcast. Here’s an enjoyable and wide-ranging discussion that I had with them on the nature of Scripture and how to understand the violence that is portrayed therein–what Pope Benedict called the “dark passages” of the Bible. While this was the subject of my first book years ago, the topic remains lively, as I continue to receive questions on the subject from many quarters.
